GCHA 40th anniversary annual report
GCHA wanted to celebrate their 40th Anniversary by publishing a special Annual Report. Following on from the birthday theme I developed the idea to un-wrap the brochure like a present. The whole report was printed and die-cut from a single sheet of card. Once the ribbon is untied, the brochure unfolds and holds a further 4 square pages, which were cut from the outer edges of the sheets of card. Women’s Pioneer Housing anniversary annual report
It was the year 2000 and also the 80th anniversary of WPH as they were formed by Suffragettes in 1920. I designed the cover with the use of numbers and a photograph from 1920, supplied by their tenant Gwen, with a photo of a new tenant and her child. Gwen still lived with WPH in the same block of flats where the original photograph were taken. Inside the stories of the tenants were published with their own photographs from the past, telling their stories with art directed current photos.
